Brian Hodgson, DDS received his dental degree from Marquette University in 1987 and a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in 1993. He became Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2001 and serves on the Oral Clinical Examination Committee for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Hodgson has been an instructor in the Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin since July 1993 and an Associate Professor, Program in Pediatric Dentistry, Marquette University School of Dentistry since March 2003. He also provides hospital dental services to healthy children and children and adults with special health care needs. His clinical research has been focused on the prevention and treatment of cancer therapy-related oral mucositis, but also investigates oral health-related findings in patients with SHCN. He previously maintained a private practice in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin from May 1996 through September 2013, and recently retired after a 32-year career in the US Navy Dental Corps.
